depositionDeposition is the word generally used in civil cases. The person who files a case in court should produce legal document as well as evidence to support his case. The evidence produced by the client to support his case is called as deposition.

The two main advantage of the usage of deposition which are

1.      The client can deposit his evidence in court through lawyer, so he doesn’t require coming to court. If client in a position not able to attend his case in court producing deposition help him to relax and not affecting his case in court.

2.       The judge in court can read through the deposition produced by the client, more information related to case is understood by the judge. Even client can able to produce his deposition directly to judge if he is not ready to ready to hand over  his paper to  lawyer .

Client can able to get help from lawyer to prepare deposition document. After the documents are submitted by client in court, the content in deposition is evaluated by the judge. Court reporter plays an important role in the deposition. He generates a periodic report related to client and deposition document as well as client activity in day to day case work.
